How are we compensated?

We are compensated through the investments we manage and the insurance plans we help you set up. We are not fee-based planners. We have chosen not to be fee based because we feel that we can better advise and guide our clients when we are managing the RDSP or overall investments. In many cases this model is much more cost efficient for clients, and they get an expert providing them with financial and investment advice along the way.

If you are already going to the bank to open a RDSP, the investments that RDSP own are paying a trailer fee to the bank. You might want to ask yourself what you are receiving in return for that trailer fee. Do you have a dedicated individual looking over your RDSP? Is that individual an expert in RDSP’s and disability related financial planning? Can you call them up to ask a question about ODSP or the DTC? Choosing to open or transfer an RDSP to us or to set up insurance with us means that as our client we are there to answer any questions you have along the way. You will have questions and we have the answers.
